East Main Corridor

One Corridor. Shared Success.

East Main Corridor is a movement made up of the local small businesses, property owners, and community partners who are coming together to shape a stronger future for East Main Street in Columbus and Bexley, Ohio.

We're building a shared vision for reinvestment, collaboration, and community-led revitalization - starting where we are growing together.

Building the Vision Together

We believe the future of East Main Street will be built by the people who live here, work here, own businesses here, and invest here.

Our vision is a corridor where:

  • Local businesses thrive and support one another.

  • Public spaces foster community pride and connection.

  • Reinvestment strengthens existing neighborhoods and commercial districts.

  • Residents, entrepreneurs, institutions, and local governments work together toward common goals.

  • The future of the corridor is shaped by the people who know it best.

We believe communities are strongest when they have the opportunity to define their own future.

Where We're Starting

Building One Section at a Time

Our long-term vision is to connect communities across the entire East Main Street Corridor—from Downtown Columbus through Bexley, Whitehall, and Reynoldsburg.

We're beginning with the western portion of the corridor, from the Scioto River to James Road, where we're building relationships, listening to local voices, and identifying opportunities for collaboration and reinvestment.

As the movement grows, so will the corridor we serve.

This is Only the Beginning

East Main Corridor is currently being organized as a community-based nonprofit dedicated to the long-term vitality of the corridor.

We're assembling a founding network of:

  • Small business owners

  • Property owners

  • Residents

  • Neighborhood leaders

  • Community organizations

  • Institutional partners

  • Investors and philanthropists

If you believe in a stronger East Main Street, we'd love to connect.
